AI: True mastery reveals itself in limitation

For the successful and responsible use of AI, it is essential to understand what each type of AI can and cannot do (yet). Frans Feldberg guides you through the why, what and how of different AI types, highlighting their limitations and how to deal with them effectively in practice. Drawing on clear theory, inspiring examples and recognisable real-world cases, he translates these insights into practical takeaways for applying AI within your organisation.

Tech pitches [round 1]
12:00 pm - 12:30 pm
Track 1
The climb to AI starts with a strong basecamp

87% of organisations want to implement AI in procurement, yet only 12% have the fundamentals in place. In this session, Pascal van Neer takes you on a mountain climb: from the hard reality of AI to the summit – your procurement foundation. Discover why process standardisation, compliance, integration and change management are the real game-changers, and why AI can only deliver real impact once those foundations are secure. Are you ready to embrace AI, but want to know whether your organisation is truly prepared? Don’t miss this session.

Head of New Business Benelux

12:00 pm - 12:30 pm
Track 2
Shared data for Finance and Procurement: the key to an efficient S2P process

When ERP and procurement platforms are not properly integrated, significant value is lost. This results in data inconsistencies, manual corrections and inefficiencies across the Source-to-Pay process. Many organisations still depend on costly custom integrations to connect systems such as SAP S/4HANA with e.g. Coupa or Zycus. Using real customer cases, we show how working from the same data and using standard integration packages ensures a stable connection, greater control and improved operational efficiency.

From Data Readiness to AI Readiness: A Practical Journey for Procurement & Finance

AI is everywhere - but are organisations rushing to solve everything with AI before their data foundations are in place? As we all know, poor input leads to poor output. In this session, we will share a practical customer case, from establishing solid data foundations to successfully deploying conversational AI at scale. Discover how Procurement & Finance unlock real value by prioritising data readiness first.

Digital Procurement in the Dutch Central Government: Trends and Developments

The Dutch Central Government is shifting from a traditional linear procurement process to an integrated digital ecosystem with data at its core. Connected systems for tendering, contract management, procurement and invoicing provide real-time insight into expenditure, performance and risks. At the same time, the harmonisation of procurement rules and the digitalisation of procedures are aligning national processes more closely with European standards and interoperability. The ViDA initiative introduces, among other measures, mandatory (near) real-time digital VAT reporting, promotes e-invoicing and supports a single VAT registration across the EU. In this session, Sylvia Vertegaal will explore the key trends and their practical impact.
